Program Summary

We are so excited to partner with the Kittery Land Trust to offer monthly guided bird walks. These sessions are a wonderful way to learn more about the birds here on the Seacoast. We will explore the Brave Boat Headwaters Preserve each month, observing our wild neighbors and  learning about the trees, plants and tracks we find along the way. Did you know birds have a language all their own? Join our experts on these walks and you’ll discover a whole new appreciation of bird watching!

Program Objectives

  • Explore the preserve with the oversight of an experienced naturalist
  • Learn about bird identification and bird songs
  • Expand knowledge and comfort using birding resources
  • Connect with other bird lovers
