White Pine Programs is pleased to announce a new half-day forest preschool program!

Little Earth Explorers is a three hour program designed for preschool-aged children that will provide our youngest “Pineys” an opportunity to immerse themselves in the natural world. Children will enjoy a morning filled with exploration, games and experiential learning using the outdoors as their classroom.

The weekly program will be held at the York Land Trust Headquarters in York, Maine. Set on a beautiful and diverse landscape of fields, streams, marsh and river, children will have the opportunity to grow their curiosity for the environment and gain naturalist knowledge in a safe and supported setting. Repeated exploration in the same location can help to create a sense of place, an important social and emotional learning skill of connection that children can use throughout their lives.

Children should come prepared to be outside regardless of weather conditions and must be fully potty trained. A gear list will be included with registration.
