We are so excited to offer Maine April Vacation Camp! Active games, wildlife tracking, snow forts, fire-making and storytelling. This three day camp will immerse children in fun outdoors while making some new friends and trying out some new skills.
What to Expect
This is an all outdoor program. We will only cancel if travel conditions are dangerous. There is a porta-pottie on site. Children will likely be wet and (depending on the weather!), muddy at the end of each day. We encourage children to explore and to safely push their edges. Families should plan to bring towels for their car and a change of clothes if your child has plans post-camp. We also find that children are quite hungry after a day in the woods, so car snacks are a great idea! 🙂
Drop Off & Pickup
Families will receive detailed instructions, but the day begins at 9 am and ends at 3 pm.
What to Bring
We recommend a waterproof winter jacket, snow pants, waterproof mittens/gloves, snow boots, hat and warm socks. We encourage extra pairs of mittens and socks. **NOTE** we have lots of extra gear. If your child needs any of these items, please reach out to us via email at info@whitepineprograms.org and we will set gear aside for you.
Participants should bring a bag lunch, water and 2-3 snacks for the day. Again, we can help with these items – just contact our office.
