In this specialty program, we form a tight knit community of nature apprentices while being guided by caring mentors. We forge strong friendships with each other and with the earth. The forest fuels our projects as we create tools, carve, and weave with wild materials. We deepen our relationship with fire and explore the forgotten skills that allowed people to live and thrive in the forest for thousands of years. At the end of the two weeks, we will gather at our wilderness outpost for an overnight adventure to celebrate our new found skills and sense of place.
