Competence – Mindfulness – Resilience
Supported by caring mentors, Wildwood Ways is a week of deep nature connection and personal growth. We navigate daily challenges, push edges, learn from the forest, make and tend fires, gain primitive skills, practice observation and stealth, and learn to tell our own story. Thursday night we will gather at our wilderness campsite for food, songs, storytelling, games, and forging friendships. While building community, we uncover the mysteries within ourselves and within the earth.
Note: When registering, campers may choose coed or same gender groups. All groups will have a mix of time on their own and all camp activities to build community and diversify experiences.
Where Creativity and Function Meet
Mountain Craft revisits a time when useful items were crafted with your own two hands. In this specialty co-ed program, we form a community of primitive crafters. Days are spent carving, building, and weaving using wood, leather, natural fibers, and other wild materials while still finding time for exploration and forest games. On Thursday, we spend a night in the wilderness, cooking over the fire and sharing stories, games, and songs. Join Mountain Craft this summer and return home with creations to treasure.
