Piney Survival Skills

Week #1 – July 5-8 / Tuesday – Friday
Week #4 – July 25-29 / Monday – Friday

Have you ever wondered what it would take to survive a week in the Wild? Wonder no further: spend a week with skilled wilderness mentors and learn how to make your own shelter, use a compass, tie knots, make tree tea and collect supplies for a successful tinder bundle. This is just a touch of what we will be working on in these weeks of camp. If you’re up for the challenge, join us to become a Piney Survivor!

Junior Wildlife Tracker

Week #2 – July 11-15 / Monday- Friday
Week #5 – Aug 1-5 / Monday – Friday

Wildlife tracking is a life skill used by humans all around the world to reveal the secret life of our animal neighbors. This week we will study the art of wildlife tracking by looking for signs and trails that teach us that we are not the only wild ones playing in the woods. Using field guides, track casting materials, wild-play games, and other tracking tools we will hope to ID those that walk and frolic in the night.

Junior Naturalist

Week #3 – July 18-22 / Monday – Friday
Week #6 – Aug 8-12 / Monday – Friday

Are you curious? Are you eager to explore the mysteries in your backyard and further into the wilds beyond? Bring all your questions!! Come play games, make new friends and celebrate the outdoors with us. Unlock the secrets of the forests, the streams flowing through them, and the creatures who dwell among us. Join fellow humans who yearn to be more deeply connected to the natural world
