York – It’s all in an afternoon for the youngsters in the White Pine Programs’ Wild Child after-school program in the woods behind Coastal Ridge Elementary School. “It’s so critically important for them to be outside,” said Assistant Program Manager Amy Beal as she gathered the children together for the game. “They are getting grounded. Nature provides that in a way that nothing else does.”
