Program Summary
In partnership with the York Land Trust, our 3rd Wednesday of each month Bird Walks are a great way to learn more about the birds around us here on the Seacoast. We will explore the Highland Farm preserve’s beautiful trails, stopping to listen, observe and discuss bird behavior. Did you know birds have a language all their own? Join our experts on these walks and you’ll discover a whole new appreciation of bird watching!
Program Objectives
- Explore the preserve with the oversight of an experienced naturalist
- Learn about bird identification and bird songs
- Expand knowledge and comfort using birding resources
- Connect with other bird lovers
- Be outside!
