Maddy McCormick

Maddy (she/her) is a self-proclaimed lifelong learner and bundle of energy from Norfolk, Virginia. After graduating Miami University of Ohio with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, she pursued work in marine conservation and ecotourism before finding her passion in environmental education. Maddy started with White Pine as an AmeriCorps member in November 2024 and has stayed on to continue as an educator. She believes in the power of connecting with nature to become better individuals and better stewards in our community. She loves traveling, writing, photography, movies, puzzles, and discovering new things.
